Union Ridge Musicians Rock the Edge Arena

The Union Ridge Chorus and Concert Band were given the opportunity to perform the national anthem on Saturday, March 19th, at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, for the Chicago Steel hockey game. The lights went dark and the arena became silent. Students in both ensembles spent a lot time practicing and memorizing the music for this event, but some students were nervous! Then our name was announced, and the cheers in the audience of all our Union Ridge supporters calmed our nerves. The performance went without a hitch, and the students were then able to enjoy the game...and concessions!
