Uganda will likely be voted to the United Nations Security Council next month. As a nation, Uganda has committed grave crimes against humanity and is unfit to sit on the Council.

President Yoweri Museveni shot his way to power in 1986--in this video clip, Museveni states why he believes the use of child soldiers, which Uganda was condemned for by UN reports, is acceptable.

  • Look here you are, I don't care, thanks for posting the video, however why did you cut it over there, at that time I believe they could use Child soldiers, we needed sanity around. and he is a changed man now, the army is turning professional.

  • The US just passed a law that means Museveni can be sued for the use of child soldiers both in the past and currently, as the UN has reported use of child soldiers in the government army and local defense militias.

  • A changed man? Is the looting of eatern Congo by Museveni the change you are talking about? What of Museveni's killings of innocent people in western Kenya by his security forces on behalf of his friend, Mwai Kibaki after the stolen elections? His day will come... at The Hague!

  • The U.S/ICC should keep President Museveni accountable for the war crimes...

  • @Kabz918 Literally, the U.S. and Europe do rule the world. This is nothing but the current state of colonialism = puppet governments. Of course the leaders maintain a degree of freedom but they are not ultimately free to make their own decisions as long as as much as 52% of their budget comes from Western sources. African leadership needs balls like in the 1960's with Lumumba and Nkrumah. They need to refuse foreign "aid" and develop their countries for their own people, not western interests.

  • @xposeuganda That would be ironic because in America, you can't be tried for something which was not illegal at the time of commission. I would hate to see a double standard so blatantly applied to other nations.

  • Wht is US passing Law you bitch we don't care about your Law don't think that ur ruling the world you idiots...!
