  • I was looking to the J Lennon Roll Royce when it was with Lennon. Pity that this fantastic model DO NOT HAVE the emblems (four), in the front of the car that were in the real one during the time of The Beatles. I wonder how they did not see this detail? Yes, I would like to have the model but what can I do to put those emblems there? is this car already on the market?

  • @fantorjhs Good eyes! I'd be willing to bet that the missing emblems might have something to do with either the model being a pre-production piece, or, possibly, a copyright issue that had to do with those emblems being on the model. Oftentimes, a manufacturer will be faced with such a situation, and has to forego absolute correctness for the sake of making the model at all. We'll see what we get when the car is on the market (which should be some time soon).

    Thanks a lot for watching!

  • @Thecarroom I took a look on youtube and found a video named "john lennon's roll royce - 1967" there I found what I was looking for; a nice close up of the four emblems on the car. We can see them with detail BUT in WHITE AND BLACK, so still I (we) need the colors of the emblems. If I get the model I will try to put those emblems on it (however I do not know how to make or try to make them).

Thanks for the video You let me know about this model. Any news about the Black Beauty scale 1;18?

  • @fantorjhs Hello - You can get a decal making kit (for water-slide decals) and make the emblems using a printer - a little intense, but do-able, especially if you can find a photo online and have a friend use a photo editing software to correct it for size, etc.

We haven't heard about any 1:18 Black Beauty - not yet, anyway - but we'll surely get one if it gets made!

    Thanks for watching.

  • Great Video! Must have been lots of fun!

You must have been a kid in a candy store!

  • @SuperCarMania COMPLETELY, LOL! The show is amazing, and TrueScale has some outrageous stuff on tap. They also happen to be great people...

  • i love the john lennon rolls but what about the rolls in its original colour black with black windows as seen at buckingham palace when the beatles recieved their mbe medals same registration plate fjb 111c also the white rolls royce phantom with black windows & the t.v ariel on the roof just change the colour and we have 3 john lennon rolls royces what abut that TSM

  • @Thecarroom Thanks a lot for the advise, I will try (when I get my hands on one of the J Lennon models). And yes, please keep us inform about the Black Beauty. Cheers

  • Take a look on minute 14:08. Behind the model you can see two pictures with the emblems that I was talking about. So, they should know that. Sorry about my English, I am trying my best.

    Regards

  • @ricerboy100 yeah, it was fun - and a lot of work, too! We shot around 30 hours of video, including background shots, interviews, and "B" roll. Now, it's "edit, edit, edit".

    Thanks for watching!
