RADIO NORTHSEA INTERNATIONAL - Smash Play w/c 13th December 2010

http://www.rni.net.ms/

Another of my translated German "Schlager" songs. This one was originally recorded by a band called "Die Flippers", under the title: "Auf Rote Rosen Fallen Tränen". It was also covered by Dutch band De Sunstreams.

Original words and music by Karlheinz Rupprich and Uwe Busse.
English adaptive translation © Dave Williams 2010.

When working on the translation, I tried as far as possible to stay faithful to the orginal lyrics, I hope you enjoy my interpretation.

Music from a midi file re-voiced in Cakewalk ProAudio7, to suit my Yamaha e413 keyboard.

  • I really love these "Schlager" songs. I always used to listen to the German versions on foreign stations on my little transistor radio when I was younger :-)
