I've built a design that will work in 1.0 robin, if you'd like to take a look at it.

This is awesome! The only thing I want to see changed is to have two pistons bring the stone back, simply because I think only one block moving on the top row looks odd. I've tried it myself, but with two pistons they seem to take too long reset and the water spills everywhere :(

@DavetheRave52 strangly you are right, the water behaviour seem to be different when 2 streams als flowing down. Although you cou simply use one water source and move the second block only for show. This way still only one little tongue of water leaks out.

I have built this in smp, and it seems like fire does not spread away from netherrack... Any suggestions ?

@iamyou90 I tried it a minute ago on my vanilla server and it worked as intended. I tried using fire(netherack)/wool and lava/wool.

Can you replace the wood with wool? Would that make it catch fire faster?
