Defiance - Classic Costumes

I feel like since Defiance was made more to appeal to mainstream gamers in its art design, that it lost a small bit of that nostalgia here and there, which the more serious Lok fans might have wanted to experience. Mortanius was too unlike his Blood Omen self and didnt seem much like a Necromancer in Defiance. So I changed him out to be more... well, bad ass, by changing his voice to sound more like the way Tony Jay portrayed him, but still a good difference and changing his costume. Raziel´s texture is from Soul Reaver 2. I painted the eyes to be smaller like in Sr2, because they were just too ridiculously large in Defiance. Im still working on cleaning the wings and finishing him. I will post these changes in a zip file for others to add it to their copy of Defiance if you guys are interested.

Any chance you could release these modifications for Defiance, when you're finished? I like modified Raziel:) As well as Mortanius's modified voice to make him almost sound like Tony Jay's performance in Blood Omen 1, but at the same time not sound like the Elder God. Are you making any changes to Kain?

Yes, thanks I'm glad you like Raziel and Mortanius' changes. I agree that SR2 Kain looked a bit better. I'll be making some changes on Kain to see how I can make him look more like SR2. I'll keep you guys posted here.

Very impressive work, this really does make defiance look classical and more in the vibe of Blood Omen & Soul Reaver 2. Also nice touch on Mortanius and his voice as well, Hope you are doing more of these :)

Fantastic work! The modified Raziel looks much better! :D Will you be doing anything with Kain? I thought he looked much better in SR2 than Defiance, maybe you can do something simmilar with him.

great job! Now Defiance reminds me of Blood Omen and Soul Reaver 2 much more. The quality of your textures is soo much bettter :) I really like the new Raziel and Mortanius!

do you have some kind of higher quality version? the definitions look better. also raziels "wings" look a little, odd.
