As lovely as this little Female Blackcap is, it is becoming a bit of a problem in my garden. It is stopping all other birds from feeding on the feeder. Even when it is not feeding, it is hanging around near the feeder and attacking any other bird that goes near it...

  • @lappenstar07 Thank you Veronica, I've noticed Blackcaps are very aggressive little birds. I'm suprised the other birds let them get away with it. Have a wonderful Christmas ~ Paul

  • Virão o dono, "Rei da Montanha, é muito legal. Gostei

  • It is typical behaviour for Blackcaps to act agressively, especially in winter around feeders.

  • Oh dear, feisty little bird! He looks like our wren, they are very aggressive, not even afraid of our cats:)

  • You need to install another bird feeder, preferably of sight of this one. We have a large bird feeding station, with cylinder feeders and platform feeders. On Saturday, we took them down, washed & disinfected them, dried them, and refilled them. A chore! But essential to prevent spread of avian diseases.

  • sehr gute aufnahmen
