O'Donnell to Buchanan: GOP Embraces Ignorance

From Race to the White House Nov. 7, 2008 while discussing Sarah Palin's future, Lawrence O'Donnell slams Pat Buchanan for the GOP embracing ignorance and asks him if he believes in evolution and Buchanan's retorts that if O'Donnell believes he's descended from a monkey he would understand it. When you're losing an argument, resort to insulting the other guy. Class act there Pat.

Palin's ignorance and ego allowed her to accept a position she was totally unqualified for her. There was no way McCain/Palin was going to win and it was because people were terrified of her being in the White House. Thank God we have had the past two years where she has proven repeatedly just how stupid she truly is, but even worse, she's proven herself to be vindictive, mean and divisive. If you look at her record or lack of it in Alaska, anyone could have predicted this.

I think The McCain campaign took a political gamble and they had no idea how much Palin didn't know. Pat is right, she was sensational at the Convention. And then she began to give interviews. This wasn't about the economy it was about her ability to reveal how much she didn't know every time she spoke.

yes, people, like him, do blindly believe evolutionary theory without question, & they consider those who are skeptical of Darwin to be ignorant.
