@verasforzza butthurt much? I said LCs are more plush which they are! They started that crap with the 80 series and haven't stopped since. Sure you could pick and choose the good ole days when they made hardcore 4x4s.
Plus I would never do the brute conversion because that is AEV's worst product in my opinion. I like their suspension, tummy tuck and highline kit but they can keep the rest.
I think you have spent too much time in the garage polishing your overpriced 4x4s.

@caguru Fail. FJ40, 55, 60, 62 and 70 aren't more plush, and yes they are FAR SUPERIOR.
Too bad you're full of shit sport. A stock FJ can do Hell's Gate no problem (ton's of vids in here). If someone doesn't enter then it's not a question ability, maybe they just don't want to.
Finally, unlike you, I own a top of the line Jeep (AEV Brute) with 40"s, guess what, my FJ's (I own everything from a 40 to an 80) fully custom, cost less, have more power/torque, and are more capable with smaller tires

@verasforzza For some one who claims to be an expert on 4x4s world wide, you sure are an idiot. First milspec jeeps decades ago have very little in common with modern jeeps. People choose Land Cruisers because they are bigger and more plush not more capable. And since you Land Cruiser guys think your rigs are so capable maybe you can quit parking at the bottom of the "jeep" trails and follow us up (when I drove this weeks ago there was 3 LC at the entrance of Hells Revenge that never entered)
