No one hung themselves, but a few did drive into the creek. The "haunted" rumor started in 1990. I still laugh when people say it's haunted.

The fact that you felt compelled to attack the sexuality of a couple of kids for no apparent reason smells a lot like overcompensation to me. Too bad, because that one stupid comment ruined what was otherwise a decent video.

I live in Madison County, I just go to Ashland University so I've been to the tunnel, the Xenia woods, and Red Brick tavern..... all 3 are creepy. My friends and I have never experienced anything at the tunnel, but it's just eerie to look at during the night. I suggest going to Cry Baby Bridge in Selma, OH- freaky stuff right there!

In every legend of haunted tunnels, roads, bridges it always mentions a woman hanging herself and children suffering untimely death. There's another bridge in Crawford, Virginia with the same story.

There is anoher tunnel similar to that one north of Ashland or just inside Wayne county south of West Salem off of US 42. Yes that is a strange place.

Ive been there at night, its extremely creepy, and you have to put your car in nuetral halfway through the tunnel to experience anything.
