Interview with Stella

This interview was done in November 2006 in Colombia by the US Labor Education in the Americas Project. Stella is a flower worker at a Dole plantation just outside of Bogota.

These videos are interesting because as Latin America unionizes, plants and industries move to China or other places instead. These workers, unfortunately, are part of a "race to the bottom".
