Schuhplattler Tramin Südtirol 1

Die wyndorpie Tramin is in Suid-Tirool wat deur Italië beset word, maar hulle praat dan net Duits. 14 Augustus vier hulle fees, toe kom dans hulle seuns die 'skoenklapdans'.

Embora sob ocupação italiana o Tirol do Sul conserva o seu idioma alemão. Dia 14 de Agosto os rapazes da aldeia vitícola de Tramin festejavam dançando os tradicionais sapateados.

Bulan Augustus yang lalu diadakan tarian daerah [ 'tarian pukul sepatu' ] di dusun Tramin, Tirol Selatan. Daerah ini sudah lama dijajahi Italia namun tetap memelihara bahasa dan adat Jerman.

Tramin an der Weinstrasse, obwohl seit 1918 unter italienischer Besatzung, pflegt wie immer die deutsche Sprache und sein Tiroler Brauchtum. Schuhplattlertänze gehören dazu.

The southermost part of Tyrol has been occupied by Italy since 1918, yet its people have resisted forced italianization and remain loyal to their German and Ladin languages and culture.

Le Tyrol du Sud a résisté aux efforts acharnés d' assimilation par l' état italien qui l'occupe depuis 1918. La région chérit son identité, son folklore et sa langue allemande (et en plus le ladin dans les communues bilingues de la vallée Gherdëina/Gröden)

These people are neither Italians nor Germans, they are Tyroleans=Austrians. Go back to Austria? Certainly, with pleasure! But they shall take South Tyrol with them. Italians in the area had better start learning German or they won't fit in. Good luck to you!

Great schuhplattler! It's nice to see some cultures keep their traditions alive. These men & boys are a proud example of that. I only wish I could go there & see them live one day; anyways Sehr Schon!  Greetings from Texas

I agree they are tops. But there's always the Gauverband Nordamerika if you prefer to stay closer to your home. There are Schuhplattlervereine in Dallas (2) and in Garland, Texas. At least three Gaufeste a year. Enjoy your trip!

Schwul ?? Der Schuhplattler war schon immer ein Werbetanz, mit dem der Bursch versuchte die Gunst des Dirndls zu erwerben. Die Mädchen und Frauen in Tramin haben begeistert zugeschaut und applaudiert. Das auch Schwule Freude daran haben mag sein. Lesben eben nicht, das ist ja klar.
