Jesse Cook, Chris Church, Nicolas Hernandes and others play "Rain" live in Montreal. The only reason I uploaded this video is a proper aspect ratio of video and probably better overall audio/video quality comparing to other uploads. Enjoy, friends!
P.S. Do not hesitate to purchase Jesse's cd/dvd's, because this guitar genius should be well supported. Or at least send him a positive thought ;)
sublime !!!!!!

@curlie21 THANK YOU! I have been wondering about this for such a long time! I met him in February but didn't want to ask him about this! I found it odd that they recorded the "crackling" track on the live version. At first I thought he wanted to have a sound similar to rain falling on leaves or something but all I could think of was a dusty LP! Thanks for making me realize I wasn't crazy and yes I have a crackling version on mine! :)

he said if you have the cd with the 'crackling' it's rare...he said he wanted it to sound like a record player...but he said so many people returned the cd cuz it sounded scratched :/ so he recorded a newer one :P

I agree with "guitardudeguy00" comment,Nickolas should be the cook,less random notes...more feeling.

I had the opportunity to see him live, and the show is spectacular.

Whose the guy with the long hair who plays lead sometimes, Nickolas something or other? He has a pretty distinct style from jesse - more technical oriented and more based around off notes
