Interesting, I've never seen conservation tasks done where you just shift the pennies out of line without actually spreading them out. It's cool to see how that alone is still enough to confuse a young child.

it is stupid that the experimenter tried to make her child respond in according to Piaget's expectation, especially in the stick length test.
This helps me with my school project to demonstrate how the performance of children could be easily manipulated by the guidance of adults.

i might be a bit late by telling you this, but saying she did great when she made a mistake isn't a good idea..., you need a positive way of saying she was wrong, but not that it was her fault. by denying she made a mistake she thinks she did good,..and she will make the same mistakes :P i could be wrong ofcourse..., but im just trying to help =)
