December 5, 2011 - Okay. I'll need input from other drummers since I'm not a drummer myself and may not be qualified to say this but I believe that this may be the best video that the lad has done to date.
He recorded it himself last night and played it for me afterward. I was very impressed.
He plays for almost 7 minutes and I swear he is flawless! I can't see any mistakes or glitches anywhere.
Other drummers will likely see something that I don't but man, this video is cool.
Please watch it all and as usual, we hope that you enjoy it.

Stay well,
Tim and The Drumming Wonderboy

  • @timrs2001 Sorry I have been busy. I have just got alot of things going on, My Poppy got into a car wreck and broke hip bone and leg and had surgery yesterday and its going to be a long road to recovery but he can do it, he is a strong man. :)

  • I'm inclined to agree with @TimsTunes. You have a lot of good ideas and you're getting really good at putting them together. Sometimes however things "drift" a bit; usually after a fill, when you come back to playing time. A metronome will help you find the reference point and smooth out some of the inconsistencies. There's even one you can download. To find a link, go to my channel and look at the video "No More Excuses." Good luck. Any way I can help, I will.

  • Hey Braydon,

Excellent video. There are a lot of cool riffs in here.

    I had noticed a few points where you shifted gears & the tempo changed.(around 4:10 & 5:30)

As a bass player, I count on the drummer to lay down a very solid groove, so if I might make a suggestion, get a metronome/electronic click (drum machine) with a cowbell & use that as your metronome. If you ever record in a studio, you'll have to play to a click track, so by learning to do this now, it'll help you later in the studio
