This came in the original box with plug-in coils. Will need some new capacitors.

  • 1961 seems really late for a regen SW radio with plug-in coils. That is pure early 1930s technology!

    Sounds like you had a particularly energetic drummer in the West building, too. :-)

  • I replaced all the caps in it and got it working good tonight..I'll try and make a video of the completed unit soon. It's amazing how good it works for being so simple. Yes the basement of the West bldg. is a rock band rehearsal area and sometimes the music is so loud equipment setting on the floor is literally buzzing and vibrating. I dont care one bit 'cause I can play music loud as I want too, too!
