  • If the stations that shut down analog were wrong the fcc should fine them and make them get the broadcast again, but I haven´t seen that, as a matter fact on channel 69 is dtv transition looping video that fcc provide kswb to help people after feb. 17. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, do you really think that all those stations that did it, are idiots??

  • by the way, you should not get mad, just go and buy a converter or a new tv. June 12 is going get you anyway and your old tv won´t work any more.

  • These dummies jumped the gun.The DTV switchover was changed from Feb. 17 to June 12,2009. IDIOTS!

  • They´re not idiots, even the date was changed, the channels that were ready for the transition could end on feb. 17.

  • What time did they cut it off?

  • 11:30 pm

  • love the quality, pixelating, breaking up digital broadcast you have there.. this is what we can ALL expect now.

  • it sounds like you are the idiot. the original deal was when 80% of the country was capable of receiving digital signals the switch would happen. currently over 90% can receive digital signals but stations must continue to spend money in difficult economic times to satisfy less than 10% of the country. Slow and dumb people, for some reason, like to slow down technological advances.

  • Your comment is not old. IT is still relevant and deserves criticism for others to read when they watch this video so they can receive more than one opinion. Why are you calling me names NEWBIE? You joined on February 19, 2009. Thank you sir or madam.

  • My comment was written a month ago. What are you? An internet troll with nothing better to do than reply to old comments.

  • Also I know many elderly people know what to do. The other ones are just waiting for someone else to do it for them. Also TV is not a necessity for life, if you can't figure it out or find someone to do it for you just leave it off.

  • Many stations actually needed to make the switch on the original date because of special circumstances (analog equipment failures, cities located in the hurricane zone, etc). It is really the big city stations that have the most complicated deal because many of them have to make a flash-cut to new channel spaces that have to be cleared out simultaneously by other channels. Those are the ones that elected to wait.

  • I agree. They should have waited until June like the rest of the nation is. Everyone is not ready.
