Turntable playback recording of the B-side from Foreigner's "Blue Morning, Blue Day/I Have Waited So Long" 45 RPM 7'' Stereo picture disc vinyl record.
Released in the United Kingdom in 1978 under the Atlantic label (Catalog# K 11236).

Technical information:
Vinyl record played on a Technics SL-1600mk2 turntable with a Audio Technica AT440MLa cartridge. The sound signal from the turntable was fed into a Sansui 9090DB amplituner's phono stage and then redirected to a Cakewalk UA-1G USB Audio Interface, connected to my laptop PC, on which it was recorded, cut, encoded to a 320kbps CBR MP3 file (with Audacity) and then later merged and sync'ed with the video (with VirtualDub).

There was no sound filtering done. This is the raw audio feed.

The video portion of the clip was recorded with a Camera EX-Z850 digital camera.
Sound and video were recorded at the same time.

  • Finally in masses of turntables vids someone that cares about the sound! So many great machines but sound recorded with camera's mic, lol Great and thanks!

  • Great track and picture disc..very good sound!

  • When this song came out all I could think about was the girl (my first love), that I missed sooooooo much.

  • In UK accent I do say well, very well done. Nice, so very nice. Quality and Fidelity from the past is a thing too covet, and for this i thank you. Peace.

The details are the icing on this tasty cake.
