A tribute to one of my favorite films, 1971's The French Connection, starring Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider, with Fernando Rey and Tony Lo Bianco. Directed by William Friedkin. The song is "Everybody Gets to Go to the Moon", which is performed by the The Three Degrees in the film.

dunno why people slate the 2nd one , but personally i thought gene hackman was incredible, especially during the heroin scenes where he has to go cold turkey, but epic films

Nicely edited! Picture, audio, lip-sync. Could you please tell us which recording of the song you have used here? (Obviously it's not from the film itself as that has sound FX & dialog interspersed.)

@bloggaloggs It's from one of their live recordings, there's several great performances of it on their albums - the film really boosted it's popularity, and they always gave it nod when they performed it.
