do you have to have internet to register that game, because my sister got it and returned it, but I didn't really know why... I want to buy it, but I don't know if I meet the requirements... please help. :)

yes, you do need the internet. Creatures are downloaded from online, and each game has a code that needs to be entered which I believe also uses the internet. Hope this helps. :)
