Damn that's only in D, I figured it was C standard. I just went back from C standard to standard and I hate the skinny, slinky strings. I have a Floyd so it's annoying to change. I don't like C because it's like losing a string altogether. Can anyone suggest which would be better: drop C (I play a lot of the faceless' stuff so that might be cool for a little while even though I'm not a big drop fan) or D standard? Thanks. And awesome frigging cover, could never even try this.

@BER2ERKER Thanks man, C Standard is pretty rough. You need really thick strings to get a proper result as the low C string won't have a lot of tension. But there are certain sets available for such low tunings. I am not a huge fan of drop tunings and try to avoid them if possible.

in the intro the part that goes like this --> 3rd string 3h7p6h7 then 4th string 5h8p7h8 i cant do, any tips? and dont say well if you cant even play the intro dont even try learning this song, im only learning the intro cus it sounds sick and the rest of the song is just tapping and fast hammer ons and pull offs...

@monkeyman410 Hard to say, also I don't know how long you've been playing. For sure this isn't exactly an easy song. A lot of new guitar players when practicing tend to neglect training their pinky, which makes licks as these kinda tricky - so I would assume that the notes played with the pinky would give you the most problem? Apart from that I can only suggest what MAB preaches - learn to play it slow in order to play it fast. When I learn new songs I sometimes start at 20-30% speed.

for every "normal " guitar player it is hard to learn a song like this .. but Asphyx123 can be proud to be compared with them ^^

@Ashpyx Hey thanks for the advice/reply. Yeah I just put 9's back on and I hate em haha. I was so used to the 11's (I think they were 11's) when I had it in C. I think 10's would be perfect for me in D standard. 10's should work well in D right? I like how they are for legato and hammers/pulls/trills better than the thin 9's. When I sweep now the high strings feel so loose after using 11's for like nine months. think I'll go with 10's in D standard. Thanks and sick ass cover/playing; extremely
