@cityboyz1uk The only gymnasts Zamarripa is representing is injured ones. She tore her Achilles tendon training vault. I am not surprised her technique on landing is horrible.

@djmbjork I at least hope she just does a yurchenko double just so she seals up the junior title, knowing the Russians vault history...I'm sure she'll have a vault ready by 2011 worlds...(or euros)

@djmbjork Hmm, I forget where I heard it. But apparently she was throwing them at a national training camp. I doubt it will be ready soon, but shes done them before.

@cityboyz1uk komova is a great vaulter but it does take two vaults to medal in worlds and olympics. while you might have one great 6.5 SV vault, you'll need another (at least 5.5 vt or higher) to get a medal. i don't even know what komova's second vt is. so far i don't think she's shown a competitive 2nd vt from another family.

@tallflag She won't be on the world team this year because her coach doesn't feel she's ready, but hopefully next year!
