But unlike the Pumpkins, Oasis were MASSIVE everywhere else in the world, and truly were the biggest band in the world during that time. Just unstoppable.

Oasis were one of the biggest, most popular bands in America starting from Dec 1995 when Wonderwall came out, to about Aug 1997 when Be Here Now came out. I'm American and I remember that. The only other band bigger than them in the States were the Smashing Pumpkins.
