here's the thing...babs doesn't have the best chops...she's great, don't get me wrong, but her fabulousness is that she turns every song into a 3 act play...she's is maybe the best at this. long live la streisand...also it's her ability to choose the best songs ever written. imho. peaceout.

@Johnmark524 But Celine has no soul.

As for Whitney her comeback was a real farce, she can't even sing 1 song without being in vocal trouble.
As for Whitney you are right unless a miracle happens will her vocal cords, she will disappear for good, it's sad though cause in the 80's she was considered to be on her way as one of the best ever, not too tragic when you consider that she has dozens of millions of dollars to support herself with for the rest of her life if she can't sing anymore

Please Celine has the most consistant and powerful vocals and her voice is as good as ever and amazing vocal endurance (700 sold out shows in Vegas) and 2 world tours not to mention that she is back in Vegas, no other singer has Celine's vocal range and endurance, trust me Celine will still blow everyone away when she hits 58 years of age.

There is no other.....She's perfection!

@stevesg92 What? That a song ending a cynical show about a profoundly lonely man trying to deal with his commitment issues, constructed out of a previous song (Happily Ever After) that ripped through the concept of marriage as a false ideal that made you miserable, with lyrics like "Somebody hold me too close / somebody hurt me too deep" and "make me alive / make me confused / mock me with praise / let me be used / vary my days" could possibly lose meaning being performed as fun? That's BS?

@poetoffire that's some great bs there

the woman was 58 here... can u imagine what would be left of mariah's, celine's or whitney's (that last one is already gone...) at that age? i fell in love with these songs when i heard Barbra sing it in this concert so i think it was FABULOUSLY done. She seemed more in her zone and relaxed in this concert than the one from 1994. BRAVO

Isn't this melodic gem just wondrous and rare?
I can actually sense its exquisite aroma, can't you? It had to be Ms.Barbra Streisand!!! (God, how I love Stephen Sondheim's deep deep lyrics).
Please, receive you all, hugs and kisses from Mexico City, for you and your family with all of my caring respect!!!
