Good video, but as a Libertarian I can see the "conservatives" of today trying to restrict my liberties almost as much as the "liberals." I am a felon today because conservative legislators didn't like one of the substances that I chose freely to ingest. The false left right paradigm just keeps us spinning around down the drain.

@standupgun, agreed. Anyone that thinks they'll have more freedom under Conservatives are mistaken. The U,S, prison population is the largest in the world, and that's mainly due to Conservative policies, especially in regard to the drug war. Plus, many people have liberal social beliefs, yet are fiscally conservative. They wouldn't be welcomed by Conservatives, as they aren't socially liberal. However, there's a big difference between a Ron Paul conservative and a Dick Cheney conservative.

I can tell you one thing - I am definitely a Ron Paul conservative and not a Dick Cheney NeoCon! The War on Drugs has been a joke and the Marijuana laws in this nation need to be revised. Americans must demand that our leaders stop using our armed forces for nation-building and policing the world!

@AmericanAvenger1: Ron Paul conservatives realize that personal liberties and economic liberties are one in the same. Neoconservatives and socialists, also known as Progressives, think one is more important than another. What they don't realize is that if the State restricts one, it has the incentive to restrict the other with the exact same justifications (ex. the ill-defined "greater good"). I'm happy to know that there are people like you in this world.

When will people understand that true liberals or conversatives would actually be for freedom and progress. The ones that claim to be liberals and conversatives in the government right now are neither. They are just frontmen whose opinions and support go the highest campaign contributor.
