It was a while back.......1983 to be exact......but I was a passenger on an Eastern Airlines flight (EA 505 to be exact) whose tail was struck by the wing of a Singapore Air 747-300 while taxiing to the gate at LAX. A bunch of people who disobeyed the 'seat belt fastened' sign were knocked down on the Eastern L-1011. No one hurt badly....both planes hung up for a few weeks being repaired
