My daughter Andrea, and her Mystery Diagnosis episode regarding her DX of Angelman Syndrome. So sorry for the chop job, I used my digital camera to record the episode off the TV. But at least you get the idea! This is clip 1 of 3.

  • You get a better outcome when you use TiVo. The sound is not good here.

  • I work at the ARC with individuals with developmental disabilities, and I was watching this one day and I was like "Dang, that sounds like what my one guy has" before it was even announced what the diagnosis was. I hope everyone and Andrea is doing well, God Bless :)

  • Always get a second and third opinion.

  • @angelgirlchild It's called The Breast That Changed Colors.

  • My niece Lily has Angelman's and the way things happened leading up to her diagnosis (she was diagnosed in January) are exactly like your story. Thanks for sharing this video!

  • My sister has Angelman Syndrome

It is so hard but I have come to learn lots about Angelman Syndrome!

My sister loves to laugh and she loves everyone that is friendly towards her... She will usually always have a smile on her face but when she's sad she'll throw a fit and it's scary :(

  • Do you know what the name of this episode was? I too have a daughter diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome and we collect as much public information on it as we can to help spread awareness. The only difference for us seems to be that she never cried as an infant, except when hungry and even then you could barely hear her. She is also Del+

  • I knew right after the "happy demeanor" thing was mentioned that she had Angelman syndrome. That's like a red flag for it.

    I hope she'd doing okay. <3

  • Hi Heather! Thanks for posting this. I'm planning to buy the podcast of the show when it is available on iTunes, however long that takes. Melissa, Jack's mom
