NOTE: I did NOT get to see any demolition of old Busch Stadium in person, though I went to one of its last regular season games. These are from KMOV's Stadium Cam, which showed the demolition of the old stadium, and then the construction of the new one.
I did, however, see the Riverfront Stadium implosion in Cincinnati, in person, Dec. 29, 2002.

its sad to loose a stadium with so many great memories. i cried when they imploded riverfront stadium to make way for the great american ballpark. it doesnt compare...

@helliviknow Personally I like the GABP... not the best park but it has its good stuff. I actually like this place better than the new Busch Stadium - except for the fact that STL has a good organist and the Reds no longer have one.

losing busch stadium was like losing a piece of my heart. i had so many memories of that place. when it came down, it felt like a piece of my body was missing. the new stadium will never compare.

What was the matter with this stadium. Are all 30-40 year old stadiums going to get demolished. How can memories live on. Maple Leaf Gardens is almost 80 years old & its gonna be renovated & used for university hockey & a store.
