Oh for fucks sake, ITS THE EDGE OF THE GOD DAMN RING OF FIRE. Its the most active area for earthquakes IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. They have lots of quakes, all the GD time, and they can be pretty strong. Yes EVEN IN CALI. People in cali LAUGH at 3.5s, they laugh at 4.5s, they dont even FEEL THEM until theyre at LEAST 5.0 or higher. Hell there was a 3.0 in alabama about 2 miles from my house two weeks ago, i didnt even feel that. Stop reading "signs" into every little damn thing.

You know I wish the big one would just happen already.. and I live in the Inland Empire between 2 major fault lines(Elsinore and San Jacinto) and not too far from the San Andreas.. Please 3.0's-4.9's are fun.. they rattle your nerves but you laugh it off.. 5.0's+ yes are scary but until it passes a 6.5 I am not worried..

quakes come up from the earth. not up and down the coast. a quake in mexico has nothing to do with a quake in canada.

This area is clustered with size 3.5 seismicity all this year. As Nibiro raises higher in the ecliptic plane the larger quakes too are moving northward. Look for large events in 6 months.
