This is the results I got after complaining like a little girl for the whole week.
the speed is almost double what I was getting.

it's the same PC and site doing the testing.

  • 3.5mb/s download would be shown as 35000 on the iplayer test.

    the 11,000 test shown here results in a file download of 1.1mb/s which works out at 1 minute for a 60mb file which still isn't great but at least it's better than before!

  • @teamplaylotto Your wrong, 3.5Mb/s = 3,500Kb/s, 35,000Kb/s on the test would indicate 35Mb, impossible for ADSL2+ (even when bonded, due to contentions and distance) and even more impossible for BT.

    The 11,000Kb/s shown in the video would be 11Mb/s which means you download files at a speed of 1.37MB/s and not 1.1MB/s.

    Which means you can do a 60MB file in 43 seconds and not 1 minute.

  • well im on sky broadband and i get fucking 3.5mb/s FUCKING SO LAME! im gona complain to them until they fucking speed it up! :D thanks for the idea
