I've never been raised religiously and times of stress often leave me feeling lost and helpless. I've been so down for months now and I stumbled across this song (I love Switchfoot) and it's like a ray of sunshine through the clouds. so beautiful, it makes me hopeful <3

I'll be honest i have no idea what i wrote in my previous comment (I don't understand myself sometimes lol). But yes, I agree with both those statements. What i meant by us is Jesus through us, because without God I could do nothing :)

There are sins of thought. Coveting is one. However, I can be tempted sexually without sinning. The temptation is not the sin - Jesus himself was tempted.

Also we don't overcome anything, Jesus has overcome those things for us.
