The only good thing about Freehold is Larry. The racing is terrible in NJ. The people who work at these tracks hate the patrons. It is a bad experience. I think Freehold should be made into a parking lot.

Used to go to The Meadowlands & Freehold as well as Pocono Downs, Saratoga, Yonkers, ect. when my cousin owned horses for big stakes races, he's outta the game now, trainers see a good horse, they make an offer, he refused cuz he had something good, so they ruined the horse because I guess training fee's weren't good enough. His big horse made him about $100,000, trainer said horse was no good, put it in a 40 claimer, horse went on to make $800,000 more before they turned it to stud. Lovely!
