  • I must say that Journalism schools are teaching exactly what Dan Rathers is talking about. (At least the one I attended and the ones my collegues attended) I believe the problem exists on the financial end. News can sometimes be driven by how much money can be brought in, and journalist are often forced to cover what the publisher/owners demand, which is driven by viewership demand. If people would stop watching Infotainment, then news organizations would be forced to change their content!

  • I completely agree with Mr. Rather. It would be nice to live in a civilized, informed nation again.

  • I can't believe that Dan didn't mention Kim Kardashian once, what's wrong with the man.

  • @whoozzit So is iTUNES out of the question to? There are offered there as well.

  • @RealTime88

Aw, shucks. It's not available in my area and, even if it were, pay-per-view is out of my budget these days. I can watch the mini-episodes on the internet though, so it's not all lost. Thanks again, RealTime.

  • @RealTime88

Thank you! I'll check it out for sure ...

  • @whoozzit Dan has a show on HDNet you should check it out if you haven't already. It's much better than what we see on network news.
