love it or hate it, marc newson and the guys at aston martin have learned how to do things, and do them well, this is true mark of skill, i love it, shweeeet stuff !!

i love Marc Newson  work and his futuristic designs , as I live in Sydney, Australia and saw the Lockheed Lounge, 15 years ago when I went to the Powerhouse Museum and was stunned with his work. I make futuristic lamps and get a lot of my inspiration from his work. I'm a painter by trade but my passion is to create lighting objects. I'm self taught craftsman and recently uploaded 15 videos with my lamps onto the YouTube. Check it out Filip Sawczuk.

Ernst- i feel that they are only part of the art. i do agree that what they do is amazing but it not much different than a great carpenter completing a great architects building. you still have to give props to the designer. if macro couldn't afford the aston crew than im sure that he would be doing it him self. im not a huge fan of macros pieces but i am a huge fan of marc. i feel an artist is someone that takes extraordinary amount of passion into what ever it is that they do.
