@tikurjegina yeah theres alot of lion king books explaining alot of stuff. scars birth names was taka(which means hawk) and scar got attacked by a herd of buffalos and that gave him the scar then everyone started calling him scar... if you have any more questions you can ask me im a lion king expert haha so just reply or send me a message.

I really wish there was a prequel about Mufasa and Scar. They can make it how Scar got the scar on his face and why he turned out the way he is. I personally think it would be a story about envy and neglect, it should be like their father favoured Mufasa over Scar and thought Mufasa was the best son and was a rightful king while leaving Scar neglected wishing he could be his brother. It should show how they both loved each other at the start but near the end you see that Scar has turned evil.
