@x3vanG21x A TS9 isn't necessarily strictly for gain, it can just be used to push the tubes a little more to get the full potential out of the amp

They add gain too.

boost pedals change the gain sounds, not meant to add gain, just meant to thicken it up and can change the voicing of amplifiers a lot. try one

why would anyone need a TS9 for a JSX. the JSX gain wise can do everyhing the XXX can, and i've never dare put my gain past half. look at my video, thats the combo without my other cabs gain less then 12 oklock

The pedal just gives an added flavor to the sound. Don't mind this video i just added it one day without much though going into it.
