I've heard this song was meant to be a duet between a man and a woman. I think this is a cool way to enjoy the song and their voices complement each other, you be the judge. If you like my videos click my my name for more and please subscribe

  • it is like eating bacon with broken glass.

  • well i like your idea, but the quality of the queensryche video isn't sooo good. I would try to compare her version of the song with the CD-version of queensryche!

  • aha ha ha wt"bleep"

  • Where is the "Celtic Woman Only"-Video????? I cant't find it! It was by far the best video on youtube and it's gone? WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! :C

    BTW: This video is shit.

  • you butchered both...Damn you.

  • He should do the Simon/Garfunkel version

  • They aren't singing in the same key or the same style. The only similarity is the actual song. This doesn't work at all. And it feels like Geoff Tate is just interrupting with the bad sound quality and timing. Basically -_- ...fail.

  • You had an interesting idea -- I recognize the creative intention behind it -- but Celtic Woman and Geoff Tate are not even singing the song in the same key. That being the case, how can their voices possibly complement each other? They can't, and don't. Anyone with even the slightest musical inclination will be in absolute agony over it; hence the comments about bacon and glass shards. It's a fitting analogy, I'm sorry to say.

  • wtf?

  • well, they both sing way better than I do, so I'm not gonna talk smack.

  • shit

  • Good Try! but the joint are too forceful.. it give out a feeling that I'm opening 2 youtube tab. lols

and u kinda get the "duet" part wrong. it's said the a man & woman each giving each other a "impossible" mission of sort.. so the duet part suppose like "Tell her to make me a cambric shirt, Without no seam nor needlework" & "Tell him to find me an acre of land, Between the salt water and the sea strand" =P
