Another test where I integrate inter-particles friction , air damping and "wall" friction.
I'm happy to see it's working fine and look like a cube of sand falling on the ground.
Probably with more friction the pill stay more higher or keep more is cube shape.

Stats:
1000 molecules
Simulation time: 1.5sec per frame
Substep : 2 substep per frame
Number of frame: 400 (24fps)
Render Time: ~1-2sec per frame

  • I guess it will be cool with some modified metaballs code. It works fine only with few metaballs... so other "spare" (inside) particles should be removed for a polygonization process... by some formulae :)

    Sorry, I know it's not that easy as I tell here.

  • @MoolahNasreddin Yes , the others problems with current metaball is it's too long to render when you have a lot of them in instance. Like over 15 000.
