Toxic - A Pediatrician's Parody

A medical parody of the Britney Spears hit Toxic. Methemoglobinemia is a disorder characterized by the presence of a higher than normal level of methemoglobin in the blood. Arterial blood with elevated methemoglobin levels has a characteristic chocolate-brown color. Severe methemoglobinemia patients have dysrhythmias, seizures, coma and death. Methemoglobinemia can be treated with supplemental oxygen and methylene blue.
