  • I was A Seabee in MCB 53 I served two tours of duty in Vietnam South east asia. It was a great unit with some of the finest men I have ever known. Can Do

  • I am seabee, only reserves-was, that is. My friend was Marine and I think we are friends because of the story of while he was recon 1968- he tells the story of meeting up w/ seabees and having the only warm meal he had while in nam. He treats me w/ friendship that I cannot and do not deserve. I would lay down my life for any Marine and feed him if I can.I don't have much but I will give you what I got.

  • My father did 3 tours of duty with MCB-11 '67 thru '69. Mainly Quang Tri, Da Nang, Dong Hoa. He was there when their ammo dump exploded. Also when a Tiger was trying to drag a Marine into the jungle. He has PTSD as I'm sure most CB's do from the war. He also has ailments from being sprayed by Agent Orange.

  • gramps was a Seabee in 'Nam, 64-68, ACB1 and was at (that i know of) da nang, chu lai, hue, and khe sanh....he said that at one point his unit was in cambodia...but he simply said "never mind" when i asked.

  • Rarely have so few done so much for so many with so little recognition.

    Roman Hnatowski "EA" NMCB 62 66 - 68

  • FIRST VIEW! my grandpa was in the 119th batt in wwII. CAN DO!
