Joe Arpaio and Enrique Morones - KGTV

On January 20th one of the main culprits on preaching and acting out the message of deception and division, Sheriff Joe Arpaio returned to San Diego to promote his nativist ideology at the Marriott Hotel in Mission Valley at the invitation of Attorney John M Preston.
Sheriff Joe came from Maricopa County, Arizona, and his cross country self promotional tours have drawn protest across the country.
We organized and have been part of several of those protests.
His outrageous and vile behavior only adds to the terrible direction that this country is headed in terms on civility and human right especially these last ten years.
"Arizona has become ground zero, for the preaching and practice of "prejudice and bigotry as Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupmik recently stated. Just in the last few days, in Arizona we have the killing of 17 year old Rames Barron Torres by the Border Patrol, we have the killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry , we have the massacre of several at former colleague from San Diego Dialogue Congress member Gifford's event, while migrants continue to die daily crossing the border and Joe Arpaio continues to tear apart families, he is not welcome." States Enrique Morones of Border Angels and former San Diego Dialogue Board Member.
"Hate words, lead to hate action which lead to death. "Only love can overcome hate and light overcome darkness are lessons that Martin Luther King taught us, Love is the greatest of all the commandments, it's time we practice what we preach.
We had hoped that Attorney Preston would disinvite Sherriff Joe, and that the Marriott would reconsider having this event at its hotel but that did not happen despite the many letters that were sent to them.
Sheriff Joe continues to be under investigation for Civil and Human Rights abuses.
Mar Cárdenas-Loutzenhiser from the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego said, "We should not remain silent when this person, who stands for so many things that are wrong with our beloved country, continues to spread fear and lies about the most vulnerable members of our society. His actions are reprehensible and their consequences devastating.
I have witnessed first-hand the type of civil rights violations that are perpetrated against the people in his custody. I stand on the side of love with immigrant families who are forced to live in the shadows and in fear. Love is our future!"
We continue to ask for civil discourse and for a Humane Immigration Reform.

Screw Enrique the Moron, I wish Sheriff Joe was our Sheriff in San Diego. We need to do a lot of illegal and in house cleaning. Too much garbage and law breakers on our streets.
