You're about a decade off. The correct term is punk, and to be precise, the Godmother of Punk Rock. Between her, Iggy, and the New York Dolls you basically have the founders of the genre.
As for Cascada, that group can die. They took a classic masterpiece from Patti and Bruce and turned it into a generic club song. That kind of crap is everything punks despised in music.
