High Park Fire Tribute Video

I will never be able to thank the brave fire fighters enough for their service.

On Saturday, June 10 a lighting strike started a fire northeast of Fort Collins, CO that would grow to be one of the largest fires in the history of Colorado.

I remember back when I lived in California there was a fire (Highway 41 Fire) that the first reports came in as about a 2 acre fire, by the time CDF was able to get to the scene (station was within less than a mile) the fire had grown to over 100 acres. The fire ended up growing to roughly 100,000 acres destroying roughly 100 homes (if my memory serves me correctly).

BTW... STARS716, many of the fire fighters who fought this blaze, and maybe even the ones protecting your house, are volunteers who have not been able to report to their paying jobs in almost two weeks. Some don't even have health insurance!
