Anthony Quinn stars in this action tale about a French army officer, Col. Raspeguy. Raspeguy and his unit are taken prisoner in French Indo-China in the early stages of the Viet Nam Conflict. After being released, Raspeguy is placed in command of a unit in Algeria and is ordered to stop an uprising of rebels who want the country's independence from France. Raspequy soon discovers that the rebel leader is one of his former officers, played by George Segal. Great action all the way. Alain Delon and Claudia Cardinale costar.

@Comodoro1955 True, Green Berets was a propaganda piece based on Wayne's belief that USA was losing the war not in Vietnam but at home...but Berets became, despite its may flaws, a smash hit at the time landing in the top 10 money makers of the year telling me there was a thirst in the heart land for a pro war or anti VC movie etc Also I have a soft spot for Mr Sulu as So Viet officer huntinng charlile

@Comodoro1955 Lost Command sucked dude!I highly recommend The Centurians which is the book Lost Command is based on and is far superior to the movie and far more realistically.
