There are soooooo many people here just swimming in the sea of self righteousness! Wemister wants to talk about "Standing on the Word." But, when Jesus said, "He who divorces and marries and marries another, commits adultery." But, how many Christians stand on that?...I know ,we don't want to offend THOSE people. The bible says it is a sin to gossip and even stand in the presence of gossip......I know, but.......Hypocrites!!!!!!!!!!

If some want to accuse some to "Sugar coat" the Word, what ever. However, no one is perfect and follows every word written in the Word. If this is not so, you could say you are without sin.

notice she said "I believe" and didn't talk about what the Bible says. Also the last Pastor quoted John 3:16 but doesn't seem to understand WHY Jesus, the ONLY begotten Son of God had to be given in the first place....to save us from SIN. The Bible is clear about what sin is. I wish people would just live how they want to live and stop trying to distort the Word of God. Don't they know the blood of those they teach lies to will also be on their hands???

@thecovenantkeeper "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." The Bible isnt some rubix cube that you need a decoder to figure out. We just dont want to accept OUR faults. I accepted mine (after making years of excuses) but i realized that accepting the truth is the only way that i cud overcome my own addictions. We are TOO SMART for ourselves and we let OUR knowledge override God's Word

well said- I have previously recommended the Youtube debate with Dr. Michael Brown and Harry Knox. Dr. Brown does an outstanding,unassailable job of explicating and expounding the underlying judeo/christian ethical understanding of sexuality in God's view. Every one would do themselves a great favor listening to the deep wisdom of this man. The urgency of the Apostle Paul's warning in I Cor 6 "Not to be deceived..." (speaking to the brethren) makes sense because of those who call sin "love"

What the black church have to do with homosexuality....man this is nothing but Satan setting traps...you got one pastor that speaking truth, and another pastor that's gay, and another pastor that's passive...and if you notice the gay and the passive pastors gang up on the pastor that speaks the truth....all things are lawful but all things are not good for you nor good to do. So if it doesn't line up with the Word of God then it is absolutly wrong..But thank God for grace..so repent now.

The persons Paul condemns are not homosexual: what he derogates are homosexual acts committed by heterosexual persons....It is not clear that Paul distinguished in his thoughts or writings between gay persons and heterosexuals who simply engaged in periodic homosexual behavior. It is in fact unlikely that many Jews of his day recognized such a distinction, but it is quite apparent that Paul did not discuss gay persons but only homosexual acts committed by heterosexual persons.
