That's because the veyron is already made to go as fast as possible from the factory. It's not like other cars that still have potential. Everything that can be done has been done. The only thing remaining would be to strip the entire thing down of anything but the necessary components needed to operate the car.

You're right in some points. There must be some potential left as "security" in the Veyron. I mean, four turbochargers, 16 cylinders already reach the capacity of gearbox, transmission, tires and other parts, mostly due to the massive wheigt, the engine itself surely could do a lot more.

For me time doesnt tell me anything....Drag race is a Drag race...whoever crosses the line first wins...Ok the bugatti did a faster time and won...(in theory)...In my eyes i see the skyline crosses the line first...and dont tell me bugatti started a bit late...that 's a drivers prob..For the street Drag races (like in fast and furius 1 which was a movie but based in real life street Drag races) skyline wins...I dont remember toreto saying in the finish line ''lets look at the times''..
