R/C Goldberg Cub converted to electric power buzzing around the pattern on a perfect spring day in April, 2010. Onboard video cameras equipped with "jelly lenses" give a wide angle view of the beautiful countryside and the many shadows provided by a clear sky and a bright sunny day. What a perfect day to enjoy this awesome electric R/C Cub. Thanks for watching

  • AWESOME video! I love the shadow shots, but I also loved the sun hits off the fuselage. Excellent artisitic vision IMHO. NICE FLYING too! If this were in HD I'd say it deserves an oscar or something. Really great job!

  • @ILS6circle1 Wow! Thanks much for the positive words. Dont know about the award but nice thought.

If I could find some inexpensive micro HD cameras, I'd fly with them for sure. Have an HD Flip but it is a little heavy. If I could turn this into a business somehow, would feel better about spending lots of money on cams and editing software. For now it is a hobby - and a fun one at that.

  • Great Video ! Which camera did you use ?

  • @innervoid375m Thanks! I used what is called a "gumpack" camera that you can buy from any number of places for various prices. 640x480 cam that records to a micro SD card. I attached fisheye "jelly lenses" to each one.

  • ditto... I want to convert me ARF...still in the box.... piper cub to Electric.. where can I go for info?

  • Ken is there a site where you explain what you did to convert to electric? My GB anniversary kit is half built and hanging from the rafters because I don't like messing with gas engines. If I could convert to elect. I just may go ahead and finish it. Then Of course i'll have to learn how to fly it. Ha! Pete

  • Amen! Beautiful.

  • Very nice. I have what is supposed to be a 77' wingspan Goldberg Cub that I got my hands on the other day. I want to recover it in Cub yellow, and convert it to electric.
