Learn to tie the String Leech on a Nor-Vise with Norm Norlander in this step-by-step demonstration video. This fly pattern is becoming quite popular, especially for the Steelhead Spey Rod enthusiasts. It casts well, can be tied rather large and has a lot of movement. The use of these "articulated" flies attached to the front of the hook (shank) is also becoming popular for a variety of other species in both fresh and saltwater. Interesting techniques to tie this fly will be featured, including the making of a dubbing brush, stitching the rabbit strip and assembly. Norm shares his tips and techniques in his easy-going folksy delivery that is both fun to watch and listen.
