  • Vic Firth makes them, one for salt one for pepper - they call it the "pump and grind" salt mill - its on amazon. I prefer a more powerful

    peppermill, though

  • some times i do, but almost everything is derivative, I read tons of cookbooks, and tend to combine recipes once I have a feeling for the dish i'm making - if its something i've never made before i follow a recipe exactly at least the first time through - i love almonds!
