The interior is not made of "cheap plastc", how you said. Have a look to most of german cars, like audi, vw, opel. there you'll find real PLASTIC in bad quality!

i had many cars over the years, crappy vauxhalls and shitty fords but when i inherited my grandfathers 93 carina, that he bought new, i have never looked back, i love it like a familly, so reliable,so great on fuel, she never let me down once. its the best car i have ever owned.

i went to to my mecanic with my old car ford sierra to get it fixed and when i arrived there i saw loads of cars with for sale sign outside.he told me he sells cars and i told him i was look for a toyota carina and he did.he said he got it a year before and no one wanted to buy it because of the way it looks so i decided to buy it.i also was looking for a almera and i told him if he every got one to tell me not long after he got one in and i bought it and i still have that one too.iv got 3 cars.

@parch11amp iv a 95 carina too and i agree it is a seriously good car and my has done well over 300,00 mile's and still runs a charm.and the avensis in my opinion is not that great.
